Scheduled for release in late August 2012, the new IC080V is an advancement on the previous model.
The new model is now 20% more thermally sensitive and for New Zealand, it comes standard with Bluetooth connectivity and voice recording.
The IC080V is a popular choice for operators looking for an high temperature multi-purpose infrared camera to perform one of several thermal imaging tasks such as;

Compared with the EC series models from Trotec, the IC080V has a larger 3.5" LCD display and a higher temperature measuring range of up to
600° C.
Fusion Imaging & PIP
" Fusion" is the combination of both an " infrared" and a " conventional" photo.
Because the IC080V features a built-in digital lens with photo lamp, it allows the operator to overlay the thermal image ontop of a background digital photograph, and then control the level of transparency. By adjusting the transparency, the background image can provide more recognisable definition to the image whilst the foreground thermal image can indicate a thermal problem or anomoly.
The moveable PIP ( picture in picture) setting means both the digital and infrared images can be aligned correctly in the Fusion mode.
The biggest bonus of having a digital camera and infrared camera combined in the IC080V is taking both images at once with the one camera.
